Community Guidelines
Effective date: 26 October 2026
These guidelines apply to profiles, posts, aquarium activity, circles, messages, listings, and handoffs that other people can see. They complement the User Terms; they are not legal advice.
1. Respect people
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or expose private information about another person. Ask before sharing photos or details that show someone else or their home, and follow the choices they make about visibility.
2. Be truthful
Describe listings, animals, equipment, and aquarium conditions accurately. Do not misrepresent identity, ownership, condition, price, availability, or delivery terms, and do not use misleading images or duplicate listings.
3. Protect animals and the environment
Do not advertise illegal, stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, prohibited, or unlawfully traded animals or goods. Follow applicable animal-welfare, wildlife, import, and quarantine rules, and do not encourage releasing animals or plants into the wild.
4. Care content is guidance, not a guarantee
Aquarium care suggestions, sensor readings, and automated actions are informational aids. They can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. You remain responsible for monitoring water quality, animal welfare, and equipment, and for getting professional help when needed.
5. No spam or manipulation
Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, manipulate rankings or reviews, scrape other people's data, or use the services to distribute malware or unlawful content.
6. Reports and enforcement
You can report content or users through support. We may remove content, restrict a feature, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these guidelines, protect people, or comply with law. If you believe a decision was wrong, contact support with the relevant details.
